Boniface has more than 20 years’ experience in the sugar industry. Prior to his appointment that took effect from 7 th November, 2017, he was the company’s Operations Manager, Agriculture Engineering, a position he held after rising through ranks from the position of a Field Superintendent. Prior to joining Mumias Sugar Company in October 1998, Boniface was an Agricultural Officer at the Ministry of Agriculture.

He holds a Master of Science degree in Agricultural Extension and a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Engineering from Egerton University. Bonface is a member of Kenya Society of Sugarcane Technologists.
